His career as a skater alongside Denis Samokhin that made him famous. Together, they participated in two Junior World Championships and placed 7th both times in 1993 and 1994. She was in 1994 briefly partnered with Maxim Kachanov. They were ranked 5th at the Goodwill Games. She then team up together with Vladimir Fedorov. They were equally successful as a team, winning the Finlandia Trophy two times and taking part in the Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Their collaboration was successful as they were able to do much more than they could on their own. But the most memorable part of the partnership came when they finished 15th overall in the World Championships 1998.
