Natalie Dormer
(born 11 February 1982) is an English actress from England. Her nominations
include an Empire Award, nominations for an Critics' Choice Award, two Gemini
Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. Dormer was born in Reading,
Berkshire. She gained notoriety as Anne Boleyn. A role she played on the
Showtime series The Tudors (2008), which won her wide acclaim. She made her
stage debut in the play Sweet Nothings (2010) and was the Duchess in York in
Madonna's movie W.E. (2011), Private Lorraine in Captain America The First
Avenger (2011). After Miss Julie (2012) in the Young Vic, was highly
appreciated. Dormer received worldwide praise and interest for her roles as
Margaery Tyrell (2012-2016 on HBO) and Cressida (2014-2015 on The Hunger
Games), that are among her most watched films. She was also the voice of Onica
in The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (2018), Sara Price Jess Price in The
Forest (2016), and Irene Adler/Moriarty in the CBS series Elementary (2013)-15.
Her work was highly praised for her performance in Penny Dreadful City of
Angels (2020). Dormer was born in Reading (Berkshire), England on 11 February
1982. She is the daughter of Gary Dormer, Claire Richards, and Samantha Dormer.
